It has the following cosmetic benefits:

Acne - Other valuable components found in Aloe Vera, such as Salicylic acid, which is an important acne treatment, contain antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and exfoliating properties. It is, however, important to note that Salicylic acid found in Aloe Vera will not dry out acne skin leading to flaking and more irritation, which is quite common when using other salicylic type of creams.

Skin rejuvenation - In studies conducted by Dr Ivan E. Danhof, president of North Texas Research Laboratories and a retired Professor of Physiology from the University of Texas, the interior gel from Aloe Vera was found to increase production of human fibroblast cells six to eight times faster than normal cell reproduction. Fibroblast cells are found in the dermis of the skin and are responsible for fabricating collagen, the skin’s support protein. During sun exposure and through normal ageing processes, fibroblasts slow their collagen production. As ageing continues, the quality of collagen is lessened and wrinkling becomes deeper. Dr Danhof found that not only did Aloe improve fibroblast cell integrity; the gel also quickened the production of collagen.

Role of Banana in Health Care and Beauty Care

  • Banana is commonly used in different beauty products like- facial masks etc because of its believed anti-aging properties. A good recipe for a banana mask would be to mix it with honey and drops of orange before applying the mixture to the face with a warm washcloth.
  • Banana reduces the effect of alcohal in a very effective way. By eating a few slices of banana or blending a banana shake you can speed up your recovery. Bananas have properties that can calm the stomach to get your tummy in gear in just a bit of time.

  • There is found a kind of protein in banana called tryptophan that is converted into serotonin by our bodies. And it is well known that serotonin is a substance that can induce relaxation, enhance mood, and generally make us happy.
  • Banana is a great emollient for skin and hair. They are rich in protein and natural fats and can be used on all skin types.

HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN YOU ARE ALONE??

Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.

However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.

A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.

Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!!
